Rosé, Two Rivers of Marlborough, Isle of Beauty, 2017
Perfectly poised with fresh herbs, liquorice and marzipan aromas, overlaying nuances of orange blossom and white peach. The zesty palate exudes fleshy tamarillo and watermelon with touches of spice, delivering a briny fresh, clean and dry finish.
Isle of Beauty is the evocative name given to the French island of Corsica, located in the Mediterranean Sea. This is where winemaker David Clouston learnt his craft and became passionate about rosé. David’s heroic approach to making rosé uses many varieties from grapes grown on plots dedicated to serious rosé production. This makes for a distinctive, dry, vibrant, salmon-coloured rosé for which Two Rivers is celebrated.
